You had a bad relationship with a person who abused you emotionally and physically. Inspite of what you did, he mistreated you repeatedly. It is good you have finally gotten out of such an abusive relationship and moved on to someone who genuinely cares for you. You need to move on and appreciate what you have now instead of focusing on what happened in the past. You will never be happy unless you make a conscious effort to move on. However if you are feeling hopeless or suicidal please consult a psychiatrist immediately.
