Hello Doctor Had a general doubt This is reg my father (Age 74) who was Dengue Positive and also had Covid-19 6 months back. He had a minor stroke. Spo2 levels are around 96-97 He is currently taking feeding through Ryles Tube due coughing issue since past 4 weeks. Wanted to know till when Ryles Tube feeding can be continued.

Greetings! Ryles Tube Feeding will be transitioned to oral if his swallowing reflex works well. There should be no aspiration while taking fluids. This will be decided by the physician. Kindly consult.

Gud morning it will be continued till getting recovered properly.he needs to have feeding as mentioned by doctor on proper time n what doctor has suggested to give in tube feeding,pls consult the same doctor in which hospital he is under treatment process.
