U have immunity towards rubella because of MMR Vaccination given in childhood for u. Just check out how is IgM?

It means you are immune to rubella. You can never get rubella in future. So your baby can never be affected with rubella. So, rest assured. Good luck.

Rubella has 2 components. IgM = Recent infection (Worrisome) IgG = Past infection When IgG is on higher side / Reactive means u had rubella infection in past and ur body has created Antibodies already to protect u. Why we do Rubella IgG test preconceptional? If patient has no immunity against Rubella (Her Rubella IgG is low) and she get infected during pregnancy then baby may have Congenital Rubella Syndrome. So in such patient who's Rubella IgG is low, we give Rubella vaccine preconceptional.
