I have grade 3 tonsils with tonsillitis. Which recurred around 3-4 times since 2-3 months. Doctor suggested to take it out with tonsillectomy if it recurs. He prescribed me roxid 150mg for 1 month OD? I dont understand why? Additionally i have nasal polyps as well, is it cuz of that?

Hello. Nasal polyps and Chronic tonsillitis are both due to inflammation occurring in your body due to allergens. It is advised to get surgery done for both (if polyps have been long standing as well) so that the inflammation settles down. Kindly plan accordingly at your convenience.
