Roxid 150mg OD for a month

I have grade 3 tonsils with tonsillitis. Which recurred around 3-4 times since 2-3 months. Doctor suggested to take it out with tonsillectomy if it recurs. He prescribed me roxid 150mg for 1 month OD? I dont understand why? Additionally i have nasal polyps as well, is it cuz of that?

For nasal polyps, steroid nasal spry are good. Surgery also good option. They may be developed due to chronic allergy condition

Roxid cures chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps But for nasal polyps steroid tablets and nasal sprays are a must Polyps have resulted in mouth breathing that have caused tonsillitis. So once polyps settle, recurrent tonsillitis may not occur
