Root canal treatment for a lower molar

2017-06-10 08:20:57
I had a dental checkup done recently for toothache and an old cavity filling to be refilled. The doctor suggested rct and crown for toothache and refilling for older cavity. I'm confused on the pricing of these procedures and unable to make decision. Am I being ripped off if I'm asked to pay 3k for rct and 3k for ceramic coated metal crown?

That's a genuine pricing. Any lower would definitely be a compromise with quality. Root canal charges can vary from 3k to even 6k depending on complexities in the procedure.

Hi, Root canal charges varies. You need to see, it is done by an endodontist. And go for Zirconia Crown (slightly more expensive) instead of PFM which is better.
