How many sittings does a root canal treatment have..? I have started today and today's treatment was just cleaning I guess nd im not sure..? nd next meeting is on 3rd Feb..!!

Hi there! The duration and the number of sittings for a root canal treatment varies according to the initial condition of your affected tooth/teeth as well as the dental systems used by your dentist. A conventional RC treatment requires 3-4 sittings .

Avoid biting on hard food from the area under treatment and avoid consuming extremely cold ,hot or sweet food.

Root canal treatment have 3 sittings but it can be done either single sitting or 2 sittings depending on the condition of your tooth (Diagnosis).
