Right Rib pain & swelling

Sharp pain under right Rib area for past 20 days which increases while twisting or turning the body. Ultrasound and blood tests results were normal. It was identified as gastric issue. Suddenly the area has become swollen and tender. Severe pain even while sitting or lying idle. Please suggest.

Swelling pain and tenderness are signs of inflammation.  Exact site and examination may point to whether it's just inflammation of joint like costochondritis or some infection.  Accordingly you may need medicine.  Gas issue unlikely since swelling and tenderness is there.
