Pain Killers on muscle relaxants are not of great help when it comes to jaw joint pain. Use of soft silicone trays called as night Guards can provide relief by acting as a cushion to buffer out the forces reaching the joints.
You can talk to your dentist for the fabrication of such trays.
If there are high points on the recently done fillings, they need to be evaluated properly and rounded off appropriately otherwise deflective occlusal contacts can be another reason of jaw pain.
