Retainer issues

I have gotten my retainers after my braces off. My front teeth had moved 1mm because of the wait for retainers. My retainer was very tight when I first got it. It’s been nearly a week since I’ve gotten it. Now I’ve noticed my front tooth is very sore, it’s thrubbing and my glued wire have arched in the gaps between my front teeth. It’s very sore. Should I continue to wear my retainers?

Take tablet dolo 650 to relieve your discomfort. See your orthodontist once to check if any adjustment of the retainer is required
