I am requesting for a second opinion on the attached Histopathology And Cytology report, alongwith an ER/PR report for my mother-in-law, who was diagnosed with breast cancer (right side) and underwent surgery for breast removal. I would like to know if any additional procedures are needed/required after the breast has been removed. Thank you.
She definitely require hormonal therapy ( Letrozole or Anastrazole.
If you can afford please go for oncotype DX testing
to know any additional benefit of chemotherapy.
She does not require radiation therapy, however she will require hormonal therapy as her ER and PR is positive. Usually Tablet tamoxifen 20mg is given once daily for 5 years.
