Replacement for glycomet trio 2/0.3

2025-05-25 01:05:06
Hi, my mom was using glycomet trio 2/0.3 but now it has been banned and is not in stock. Could you suggest if she can use glycomet trio 2/0.2 instead?

Before changing the drug consult with ur health care providers, the will assess patient condition, fasting and pp sugar and hba1c level not not done in last 3 month, or u can connect to me for further details. Don't change medicine on ur own without consulting

I recommend to consult with your treating doctor, I always prefered to newer antidiabetic medicine like DPP-4i, SGLT2i and metfirmin over glimepiride+met+voglibose combination, new drugs has additional cardio-renal benefits aling with blood sugar control

I think before shifting to new dose combination randomly ,her BSL levels should be monitored and actual need of these triple combination should be evaluated. Considering her age glimiperide has higher risk of causing OHA induced hypoglycemia We can start her on more safer and better drugs after evaluation
