Ultrasound of which part ? My husband mother has heavy menstrual flow and doctor advice her this tests. So i want to know the full form of these tests. (PS, PV,Ultrasonography) Kindly answer me

It seems that your husband's mother has been seen by a General Physician and not by a Gynaecologist. PS is per speculum examination. PV is per vaginal examination. Both these are parts of a Gynaecological examination and don't need any special effort. Ultrasound scan is known to you.
