Hello, My mother (Age 61 yrs) has fracture plate in one leg ankle. Now fracture has healed. Is it reqiured to remove plate?

No need to remove if it is not causing any pain or discomfort. You can remove it after 1 year of surgery if you want or if there is any complaints due to implant.

Remove implant only if it's creating any problem and the surgeon who operated the fracture is the best person to perform implant exit.
