My husband had a multi kneecap fracture and underwent surgery 2 years before. Now should he get the wires removed as he always have some slight discomfort? Will it be painful and how much time will it take for recovery?

Yes mam .. he may require removal of implant. Usually takes around 2 weeks to recover.

After two years from operation. Implant can safely be removed. Nothing to worry.a small procedure.
