At 22, one needs to determine the cause of hair loss, it could be androgenetic alopecia as suggested by you and there could be other causes as well which could be leading to telogen effluvium.
After assessment, in Androgenetic alopecia one could consider using finestride and topical minoxidil but it would be best if you get yourself examined by a dermatologist for the same. Both these compounds help regain the hair density to a significant extent but there are other factors which need to considered, one of them being the grade of hair loss.
