Regarding vaccines at age 10 year

Hello, My kids immunization schedule has the TT vaccine mentioned at age 10. Is it the regular TT vaccine we take after some cut or injury? We had already given him regular TT after a fall while playing.

As per IAP Indian academy of pediatrics recommendations, we give diphtheria , tetanus and pertussis booster at 10 yrs. So it's not the regular TT. Please visit your pediatrician for proper guidance. Visit a  government hospital if you want to take there or have taken there earlier. Government has a different recommendation.

Once your child completes the immunization schedule he doesn't need intermittent boosters with falls as the vaccine gives immunity. Also some new changes keep on happening in the immunization schedule so please take the updated vaccine information and get him vaccinated for the same
