As a veterinary doctor, it is ethical for us to comment on the physicians choice of vaccination route and its immunoglobulin production in a person.
As a veterinary doctor I can only comment on the dog's health.
Usually, rabies suspect dogs are observed for 10 days. If they have rabies, then they will die within 10 days. Since the dog, which bit you is still alive and healthy even after two months, it indicates that the dog didn't have any rabies disease. Hence, you don't have any risk of rabies.
