Docter,In report of lipid profile S.Triglycerides is 208.60mg/dl Hdl cholesterol is39. Mg/dl LDL Cholesterol is 99.99mg/dl VLDL Cholesterol is 41.72mg/dl LDLC/HDLC RATIO IS 2.56 TC/HDLC RATIO IS 5.35 S.Cholesterol/HDLC is 4.63 S.Chelestrol is180.71mg/dl. Docter Two value are higher side what treatment you can suggest me.

Hello, Though your cholesterol values are little high, if you have no other morbidities like hypertension or diabetes and if you do not smoke, you have a very low risk of having a vascular disease. So you do not need medicines for this. This can be dealt with following lifestyle modifications 1. Exercise for at least 150 min per week (at least 5 days a week) - either jogging or swimming or brisk walk 2. Keep BMI below 25 3. Avoid junk and red meat 4. Take high fiber diet 5. Avoid smoking
