Use a clean pad and observe whether bleeding occurs independently of passing urine; do not insert anything. Arrange same-day gynaecology or physician assessment with urine testing and a
pregnancy test if relevant; pelvic examination or ultrasound may be needed. Seek urgent care for heavy bleeding, clots, dizziness, severe pain, fever or possible pregnancy. Book a Practo consultation for review.
