In gbs patient apart from exercise is there any other way to stimulate the muscles. Or any kind if machine is available in the market which stimulates the muscles quickly.

Hello. Yes there are muscle stimulators. But they can stimulate only the superficial muscles. It would be inaccurate to stimulate deeper muscles with them. But yes, you need the services of a psychotherapist. Owning a machine would be expensive and might not help if the user does not know about the human anatomy. Kindly seek help of a physiotherapist. In GBS condition NMES treatment is effective in early phase. But exercise plays a key role. This treatment can be done only by the Physiotherapist.

Hello dear Muscle stimulation is to be done by a trained physiotherapist only.. Better to get it done there. Getting the machine from somewhere and doing at home isn't recommended. Regards Dr Vipin Gupta
