Regarding HIV
Hi doctor,
I went a massage parlour two days before.
No sexual intercourse has been done. No mouth to mouth kissing. I had fingering her for 2-3 secs. There is no visible open cut/wound in my finger. I am not very sure if I had touched my penis tip immediately after opened from the vagina.A handjob was there as well.
Could I be infected by HIV?
Should I get tested?
Should I maintain sexual relation now with my wife or not ?
Hi there...I can understand your concern. Virus can only be transmitted if any mucosal surface or cut wound on your body has come in contact with her body fluids or mucosal surface or cut wound. From your description it is unlikely that you will have contracted the disease. But just to be safe get your hiv 1 and 2 testing done. Repeat the test after 3 months. Till then try to maintain abstinence or use a condom compulsorily. Contact a dermatologist for further queries and evaluation.
