Regarding cervical stitch

I am 20 weeks and 2 days pregnant. In my recent ultrasound scan (Tiffa scan), the cervix length was measured at 2.7 cm. Is a cervical stitch recommended for this measurement? Additionally, can I travel by car for up to 250 km? Please suggest.
