Reducing width of crown after placement

2022-09-04 10:23:25
Hi all, I got a dental crown placed on my front upper left central incisor. The bite and everything if fine but my issue is it continuously feels like it is pushing my normal teeth or being pushed by my normal teeth. Is this normal feeling or is there some solution to this? Is intraproximal reduction possible for dental crowns without cutting on healthy teeth?

How many days earlier the crown was luted ? Feeling of tightness or pressure is there for how long ?
Next Steps
If its been just one or 2 days ,then wait for a while . It may go and pressure feeling will go . Go to your dentist if it's been there for more than a week . Anterior esthetic is very important and has to be seen before inter proximal reduction of any tooth to have the symmetry.  So let the dentist decide .

Intracrown reduction can result in wearing away of crown and discoloration. Little discomfort after crown placement is common.
