Have pain in my knee had got a scan. Prior tibial spine fracture type 1 in 2004. My knee hurts!! Sharp pains when pivoting, hollowing feeling like air inside my knee. Pop and clicking sound sounds.

Mild Osteoarthritis changes are there. It would be better to get a knee MRI for better picture. At your age its imperative to avoid OA knee progression. Once you get the MRI then please consult a pain management specialist who can provide you long term solution.

Looking at the Xray and considering the history its strongly suggestive of associated ligament injury along with Meniscus injury. Please get a 3 Tesla MRI scan done of the affected knee. Mean while use HINGED KNEE BRACE while walking, standing and climbing. Ice fomentation. Avoid strenuous activities. Weight reduction if overweight. Avoid sitting cross legged, squatting, climbing stairs, jumping, jogging and running. Can do swimming, walking in waist deep water pool, static cycling.
