I got vaccinated this year March (17th March 2026). Today our neighbours cat who was lost, i found him and and he recognised me and slightly bit me while petting. Do I need booster dose or anything?

Since you were vaccinated in March 2026 — more than 3 months ago — and have now had a bite from a cat, you will need 2 booster doses of the anti-rabies vaccine (on Day 0 and Day 3). This is the standard protocol for previously vaccinated individuals re-exposed after 3 months. Wash the bite area thoroughly with soap and water for at least 15 minutes immediately.
