RCT second sitting pain

2020-02-16 18:53:55
I had RCT for upper teeth (2), after sitting I had no pain however today doctor cleaned and filled the canal, I am feeling tightness in teeth along with moderate pain. Is it normal? Why there was no pain in first Sitting? Also my temporary filling is getting little wear off!

there may be some discomfort for the period of three days which should subside if the treatment is done right.

Complete your 3 days course of medicines given to you by doctor. If its a chronic pain, it will take time to heal. Temporary will wear off.. Nothing to worry. Do permanent filling and capping only after the pain has subsided completely. Visit your dentist.

It is normal to have a little discomfort for 3-4 days after root canal completion, how ever if the pain still persist aftet a week then u should consult yr dentist again,Regarding yr temporary filing ,You should tell yr dentist to fill in a permanent restoration followed by a crown asap...
