Rct and gum

Had my rct on lower second molar ten days back. Due to severe pain (i was on pain killers, which did nothing) i visited Dr on 8th day and he removed the temp filling and put a cotton instead. Now after placing the cotton the gum associated with the rct teeth are paining and is red in color. Do i need to extract the tooth or what could be done

Please share an Xray. Dont extract the tooth. Get it treated, or retreated as required.
