Rashes in ankle

Hi. I had a small dry skin on my right leg ankle. Gradually it started increasing since it was very itchy and now in 6 months time it has increased so much. Initially I thought it was just dry skin, but even after applying moisturizer and Momate F cream. Can you please suggestsuggest since it is very itchy.

This is a Lichenified Eczema. It means the skin has become thickened and leathery. This often results from continuously rubbing or scratching the skin. Chronic irritation due to conditions such as eczema can cause lichenified skin. Moisturizers and topical steroids are usually used to treat lichenified skin. Injections r also available to redu e the thickness a d itching. Consult with a Dermatologist for the same.
