Rapid hairfall and Globulin_A/G ratio

2019-10-20 13:27:22
Hi, All of sudden, from the past 3 weeks, I have been having very rapid hairfall and have almost gone bald, in just 3-4 weeks. After consulting a doctor, have taken tests like CBC, Lipid profile, Renal profile and Thyroid profile, which all are normal. But Liver profile test was abnormal. Albumin is 4.77 Globulin is 1.86 (below range)* A/G ratio is 2.56 (above range)* What does these levels mean and could this be the reason for my very rapid hair loss? Kindly advice.

This is androgenic alopecia. MINOXDIL may be helpful. Take plenty of dal and a glass of milk daily. Avoid stress.

Hi there! Your albumin level is within normal limits. Globulin is low. That’s the reason why A:G is little elevated. It has practically very little significance. Since all the tests you mentioned are normal, it can be due to stress. I would suggest to go back to your dermatologist and seek treatment. There are multiple treatment options available.
Next Steps
Don’t stress. See a dermatologist or if you want detailed consultation, please come online.

Hi you have to see a dermatologist.  He will rule out causes of hair fall . Hair fall can be for many reasons including  dandruff or psoriasis. You should  see a dermatologist  first before taking  any medications  or supplements, because exact diagnosis  is must.

The hairfall in this age may be due to stress and may be due to severe vitamin D deficiency. Please try to talk to me after uploading your reports and I will definitely attend your case and provide the suitable treatment.
