I had experienced a itching feeling in my tongue and then a pea sized lump appeared. It has since stopped itching and deoesnt hurt to touch. And is now shrinking

A proper clinical examination will be the best way to evaluate the current condition to arrive at a rational diagnosis. Absence of symptoms is not the only criteria to declare a condition as harmless. Size, location, duration, surface features are some of the criteria to make the judgement. The right treatment, if required, can be suggested after a proper diagnosis has been made. Regards.
