Today I have completed my 4th dose of vaccine But I have a doubt first three doses were given half-half on both shoulders but 4th dose was given on one shoulder is it fine as this time hospital was different and I have didn't get the bump at site of injection ? Was the vaccine administered correct ? Brand of vaccine was Rabivax-S

**Dear Patient,**  Thank you for sharing your concern regarding the rabies vaccination. Here’s what you need to know:  1. **Vaccine Administration:**     - The first three doses of the rabies vaccine (Rabivax-S) were correctly administered as half doses on both shoulders, which is a standard practice for some vaccination schedules.     - The 4th dose being given as a single injection on one shoulder is also appropriate. The method may vary slightly depending on the hospital’s protocol, but it does not affect the vaccine’s efficacy.  2. **Bump at Injection Site:**     - The absence of a bump (local reaction) after the 4th dose is normal. Reactions can vary with each dose and are not a measure of the vaccine’s effectiveness.  3. **Next Steps:**     - Ensure you complete the full course of the vaccine as prescribed.     - Monitor for any delayed reactions like mild fever, redness, or swelling, though these are uncommon.  4. **Important Reminder:**     - Rabies is a fatal disease, and timely vaccination is crucial. You’ve taken the right steps by starting the vaccine promptly after the monkey bite.  For further clarification or if you experience any unusual symptoms, feel free to connect with me. You can reach me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two** to discuss your concerns in detail.
