Your preoccupation with contracting rabies is a part of your OC symptoms. Your distress can be greatly reduced with medications. Do consult for detailed evaluation and appropriate management

Do u have a history of dog bite ?..if so have u taken rabies vaccine, if u have taken, then no need to worry about it. It's an illness anxiety disorder, here u have fear of having rabies, it's just a fear , not real. Consult psychiatrist what ever it may be , not a big issue, can treated easily.

As per my opinion, these are your recurrent thoughts and concern of getting infected with dog bite, part of OC symptoms * You must consult your psychiatrist and maintain follow up as Medications need to be optimised as your symptoms of anxiety due to illness concern are impairing your life* You will be better with proper advice and management, you must trust your doctor and maintain follow up visit, do not change your doctor and adjust dose on your own
