Based on the history provided, the exposure described does not suggest a high rabies risk, as there was no skin puncture, no bleeding, and no open wound. You completed the rabies vaccination course, and your rabies IgG antibody level is 1.66 IU/mL, which is well above the protective threshold (≥0.5 IU/mL). This confirms adequate protective immunity. A delay of a few days in starting vaccination does not reduce effectiveness when the full course is completed.
Next Steps
No further rabies vaccination or booster is required at present • Keep a copy of the antibody report for records • Continue normal daily activities without restriction • In case of any future animal bite or scratch, wash the wound immediately with soap and water and consult a doctor, mentioning your prior vaccination history
Health Tips
You are safe and protected based on vaccination completion and confirmed antibody levels. No further action is needed.
