My sister had itp she is 26 yrs, married last yr. Her platelet count is 25k now. She also had pcod problem over 4 yrs is any relationship between two? She is taking steroids now. Whether it is cureable disease pls suggest a solution.

dear friend if all other causes of thrombocytopenia have been ruled out and it has been diagnosed as ITP then you should be knowing its an auto immune condition of unknown origin, and like all auto-immune diseases we can monitor control and reduce complications but not cure the condition, there is no documented co-relation between PCOS and ITP the two conditions are totally unrelated, hope it answers your doubts
