Hello Doctors, my mother has swelling in her feet sometimes, which goes away as she rests. So, I had got a health check (blood tests done for her). While her sugar levels were all well under normal range, her TSH was 0.010 Meu IU/ml, while HDLCholestrol was given as 33 mg/dl and BUN/Creatine ratio as 19.77. These were in red so was wondering, is there something serious that I should be worried about? Regards.

Swelling of feet regressing on taking rest ,is dependent edema of feet .On standing or sitting for long time will cause it .Some other class of blood pressure medications are also known to cause .You should not worry much about unless it's increasing or present all the time. Her TSH level is lower than the normal which indicates hyperthyroidism.hdl is good cholesterol which is expected to be higher than40 mg .As it's level is below normal it's highlighted

Repeat thyroid function tests TSH T3 and T4 if confirmed  hyperthyroidism,she needs to seen by her doctor
