If you have taken a dose of TT within the past 5 years and you are properly vacccinated according to your age in childhood then you dont require a shot of tetanus now as it has got coverage of 5 years for contaminated wounds and 10 years for clean cuts
Next Steps
no need of tt shot if taken a dose of tt within 5 years

Hello Tetanus usually gets transmitted via rusted objects and soiled items. You can get a shot if you want to. If you have taken a tetanus injection in the last 6 months you are safe. Best wishes !!!
