Hi,
We need to know some Information in order to help you:
1. Why you want to reduce or move to other medicine? If you are not getting any adverse effects on current medications, you should not worry about continuing them. Theoretically, any medication can have adverse effects (including Ayurvedic and Homeopathic) , but only a few people tend to experience such adverse effects. We need to take into account the benefits and adverse effects experienced by you in your case.
2. For what condition, you had been prescribed the medicines?
In some cases, medicines can be discontinued/reduced, but for some a long term treatment is required.
While not certain about continuing medicines, I am sure that you can discontinue pan masala and tobacco. There are many OTC preparations available for this. Nicotine chewing gums (Nicotex/Nicorrete) or lozenzes (Niclonz) can be helpful to manage the withdrawal symptoms. The exact dosage depends on how much tobacco you are currently taking..
It is advisable that you get back to your treating Psychiatrist for best opinion.
