Procrastination, Zoning out

I've always have had trouble getting any work done/studying. I procrastinate too much and always have since childhood. Don't get any work done until it's do or die. I zone in and out of almost every conversation. When I was a child my mom always used to be mad at me for not responding to somebody trying to talk me. She used to say that I never pay attention to anything. I also used to forget a lot of important things. I used to lose my watches, bags, raincoats, stationary all the time. I have been a relatively quite child though. I was not been hyperactive all the time, though I have been impulsive. My question is, should I have suspicion of undiagnosed/adult ADHD ? Should I get a proper assessment done?

ADHD if not treated properly it can trouble you at your adulthood and proper assessment is required to arrive at a diagnosis.

Hi.. I understand ur problem. You may have attention deficit. Not hyperactivity. You need to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Medications & cognitive therapy would help Consult a nearby psychiatrist.
