Problem with breathe

Since a year, I m only breathing with one nossil of my nose.. At first thought is was cold. Moreover, I used to consume alcohol regularly. Sometimes while having alcohol I feel lot suffocate and will be trying hard to breathe.. this happens only few times not regularly.. Pls help with this..
