hello sir one of the long standing diabetes complication is neuropathy wherein u get d typical sypmtoms of pricking sensatin,burning in hands or foot...typically v call it cry of d dying nerves!! its usually seen in long standing cases but severity nd progression depends on ur blood sugar levels...so as far as ur sugars are in good control u can slow down d progression... if d pain is too severe den kindly consult ur physician or diabetologist as dey might start u on tabs which are currently in use fr dem..
