1st scan - a corpus luteal cyst, that helped ur baby until placenta develop 2nd scan(NT) - normal finding. Make note of ur new EDD, ur gestational age from now to be calculated from the EDD given by USG not by ur LMP. No cyst mentioned in this scan. Normal.

Let us look at the amazing progress your baby has made between these two ultrasounds: The Heartbeat Progress In your very first scan back in February, the doctor noted early cardiac activity with a heart rate of 107 beats per minute, which is slightly slow. I am sure that was scary at the time. However, looking at your new scan, the heart rate is now a wonderfully strong and healthy 157 beats per minute. The baby has grown perfectly and the heartbeat is excellent. The Growth and Dates Because you have a history of irregular periods, the due date based on your last period was simply not accurate. That is completely normal. Your baby is measuring exactly 12 weeks and 3 days right now based on the crown to rump length. This perfectly matches the healthy growth curve from your first scan. Your new official estimated due date is October 1 2026. The NT Scan Results This specific scan looks for markers of genetic health, and your results are absolutely perfect: Nuchal Translucency: The fluid at the back of the baby neck measures 1.00 mm. Anything under 3.00 mm is considered very safe and normal. Yours is well within the excellent range. Nasal Bone: The nasal bone is clearly seen, which is another huge positive sign for a healthy baby. General Health: The placenta, amniotic fluid, and limbs are all developing exactly as they should be. Regarding the Ovarian Cyst Your scan noted a 3.4 cm cyst on your right ovary. Please do not worry about this. It is extremely common for the initial pregnancy cyst to bleed slightly inside itself, becoming a hemorrhagic cyst as it resolves. It is small and will likely shrink away on its own over the next few weeks. We will simply keep an eye on it during your next routine ultrasound, but it does not harm the baby at all.
