I have pcod and border line prolactin levels.taking Metformin and cabergoline twice a week.concieved now.can I stop taking cabergoline now ?

You may stop cabergoline.. please mention the dose of metformin and also share your antenatal profile reports for better guidance... metformin may be continued for first trimester ... however it is important to consult a gynaecologist asap

Metformin you should continue in first trimester. For cabergoline we need to see report..bcs uncontrollalled prolactin also lead to abortion.

If you have conceived then you have to stop.Consult to your gynaecologist and discuss with her.Start folic acid and get done TSH level.Fir details consult to me through practo online.
