Pregnancy 5 weeks

Hello Doctors, I am 5 weeks pregnant... I recently found out, I wanted to know, when is the right time to fix an appointment with the doctor, when can I go for 1st ultrasound? As because of lockdown, doctors are not available in many areas, is it safe to wait for 10 days? And also what precautions to take during pregnancy at this time? Any specific measures to be taken by pregnant ladies? Thanks and Regards

Sooner is always better for an ultrasound not like the olden times that you need to do it later because this rules out the basic thing called as ectopic pregnancy which is treatable with medicine itself

Schedule your scan once u have completed 6 weeks. And schedule gynaecologist appointment once you have done the scan. In case of abdominal pain/ bleeding contact gynaecologist immediately.
Next Steps
Start taking folic acid daily.
Health Tips
Avoid strenuous physical activity. Have high protein diet and drink plenty of fluids.
