Hello. What you are describing does not seem to be related to teething. Your child had an intestinal infection less than three weeks back and looks like he is getting sick again. His weight is also low for his age. At present, give him adequate fluids and ORS to keep him hydrated. Continue giving him home made foods. Monitor temperature and vomiting and stool frequency. Watch for warning signs like excessive lethargy, inability to take orally, blood in stool or vomit, abdominal pain, in which case seek consultation immediately.
Next Steps
- Schedule an OPD visit - Don’t restart the same medicines without consultation

Greetings Your son's current vomiting and watery diarrhea indicate a new episode of acute gastroenteritis that needs a fresh medical assessment.Teething is a normal milestone and does not cause severe symptoms like vomiting, bloody stools, or profuse watery diarrhea.Do not reuse past medications like Oflamac-M Forte or Refixime without direct guidance, as unnecessary antibiotics can complicate recovery.Begin administering Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) in small, frequent sips immediately to replace lost fluids and prevent dangerous dehydration.Watch closely for danger signs like severe lethargy, sunken eyes, crying without tears, or a completely dry mouth. Please consult a pediatrician today to safely evaluate his condition and provide the correct treatment for his current symptoms.
