I was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis in july 2021 and completed my treatment on February 2022. But during this treatment I felt breathlessness and doctor said it is post tb asthma. Inhaler therapy is going on. Still Once a day I need inhaler. Do I have to take inhaler for rest of my life ?? Is there any other way to get back to my older life?

Hi it’s likely that ul need inhaler for long term use…. Tb might have caused some damage in ur lungs which might have led you to develop asthma symptoms…

There is need for Bronchodilator if there is post tb fibrosis sequelae. There could be asthma symptoms which is late onset. And need of BD for rest of life or not to be evaluated. Take online consultation for review and management.
