Hi, I had Smile Surgery around 45 days back for both of my eyes. Initially vision was correct but now eyesight is weak for right eye. I had a checkup and number for right eye is 0.75 and i can clearly see the difference. Vision of right eye is blurry. I am using eyedrops as prescribed. I am bit worried now as it is already 45 days. So do i need to undergo advancement for that or can it be corrected using eyederops only. Please guide. Thanks

Hi, would be advisable to wait for 3 months for things to settle down before taking any call. Please do not try to check vision repeatedly in the affected eye, rather see how is the binocular vision and if day to day thing are comfortable without glasses. The aim of refractive procedure is to make u glass independent.. not to worry about slight refractive error. do not panic, give it some time and follow your treating docotr.

I would suggest that you consult with your treating ophthamologist as the first line of management... We can never virtually assess the patient without seeing you in person. Every one can have a different opinion and it doesn't mean that the other one is wrong... Please try to understand that virtual consultation is not possible in an intricate science like medical science... Always respect the treating doctor as your first go to person. For the symptoms, since the primary surgeon has performed the procedure, they may guide you more appropriate and specific to your case. Wishing you best of health always
