Post partum blues

My baby is 3 months old. I am struggling with low milk supply n depression. Will treating my depression will positively effect my breast milk? My doc don't see any other reason than this.. Please help.

If u feel good,u will take proper care of child and physiological functions of your body will become normal. Do take treatment for depression

Effects of depression  on lactation is not significant. But if you are on aripazole (psychotropic drug) then lactation  can be affected .adviced to check  prolactin  levels  once before  going  to a gynecologist

Completely agree with Dr. Mayuri. Treating depression may not increase the milk production. That may need to be looked into by another specialist. Consult a Psychiatrist and a Gynaecologist. Take care
