Post intercourse

Me and my partner always have intercourse after an interval of about three months, and it hurts initially when he penetrates. It doesn't hurt after the initial stage. Post intercourse, for around 3-4 days my outer walls of the vagina hurt while peeing. There's a constant stinging pain for these 3-4 days. Is this normal?
