After my C section , my doctor adviced me to use Ice pack on my stomach .. initially I did and was getting bleeding but once ice pack was stopped for like 4 days , the bleeding stopped too .. Now that I use ice pack on my stomach , it bleeded like heavy period .. I heard hot compression is after c section.. I don't know why my doctor suggested ice pack and what connection it has with bleeding .. I am still in my post parturm phase .. It's been just 12 days to my C section ..

Hey there is no corelation between ice pack or hot pack with bleeding in postpartum phase . So you can apply any temporarily as ur preference and irregular bleeding can be due to contractions of uterus during involution . For bleeding control and better involution  do continue for breast feeding the baby every 2nd hourly .
Next Steps
continue breastfeeding once 2-3 hours and don't worry [ if its heavy bleeding of soakage of 2-3 pads in an hour ;  immediately  go to hospital asap  ]

There is no connection between using ice packs and bleeding... You can expect irregular bleding after delivery for 6 weeks.. Heavy bleeding with passage of clots is not normal...then you should visit treating gynaecologist

Usage of hot pack or ice pack is unrelated to the bleeding It is purely coincidental Following delivery you can bleed regularly or irregularly for after 45 days Heavy bleeding mostly is because of retained placental products If you are bleeding profusely Passing clots changing more than three completely soaked pads  in a day You need an urgent ultrasound
