I have been having 2-3 polyps in rectum since long but detected 7 months ago only.. they were biopsied and revealed to be hyperplastic.. size was perhaps 0.5 cm n total of 3.. my Dr was not at all concerned and told me that we will remove them whenever you want, but they don't carry any risk Later on, I shifted to some other city and got busy with my life and never focused on this until I heard about a colleague getting diagnosed with bowel cancer, and I suddenly became scared about my situation Please tell me, how should I proceed next? Do these polyps Turn cancerous easily?
